Here is the last line from Minister Rosses Speech this morning BEWARE .."We hope to introduce plans as a part of this consultation, which would hopefully reduce rural isolation and maybe create ways where people will be taken home after a night out."

Sounds promising. 1/10th of a mytaxi/Uber voucher with every pint?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Our Shane is a kinda "Not Rock the Boat" type of fella !

Maybe if he goes to North Korea on the peace-keeping mission
with John Halligan and actually survives it, then maybe he might
tackle the Rural Taxi problem !

I doubt either will happen !

Instead of making people go to a pub to drink alcohol, why don't they introduce the reverse?
Maybe some way of bringing alcohol to the person's house.  Then they wouldn't have to drive.
Call it an off-licence or something catchy?

If you could stay alive, you'd probably get a good fortnight's holiday there for USD$5
