Why are you surprised, JohnM? The community that both live in set rules about how the community wants to organise themselves. Sedric isn't breaking any rules that the community live by - you personally just don't like his job. Much like a vegetarian probably wouldn't like what a butcher does. Doesn't make it illegal or morally wrong.
Anyways, do barristers have personal opinions? I'd imagine they must get confused seen as they're paid to argue black=white one day and black /= white the next, depending on what the client wants?
