Name rings a bell.. A couple of McLoughlins managed to incorporate a load of plates before they became non-transferable without complying with the 3 year rule, something NTA claimed wasn't possible (but declined to comment on specific plates, blah, blah, blah) at the time - presumably no strangers to doing business the Irish way.

Don't radio companies pay VAT on some part of their radio operaton?  Wasn't some taxi company in Drumcondra hit with a big bill a few years back?

No, I think they mean adapted for a disabled driver. Mental disability doesn't automatically qualify as the only relevant adaptation is the addition of a roof sign.

Just read the story, how old are both of them. The girlfriends mother is 34 meaning the daughter is at max 18 but could be younger and if he can drive he is at least 17. Something fishy going on?

On closer inspection it says "The mother of Simon’s girlfriend Michelle Daly (34)". Michelle is the girlfriend as per caption under the main photo is it's her age given not her mammy's. I'd say Rose is 50 if she's a day!
