Email from Whistle:

Try Whistle Taxi App first ! Why ?

The most available, not to mention most friendly taxi service in Dublin !

Good news . . Card payment now available in car ! Card 'in app' very soon !

Get the latest version of the app here - www.whistletaxiapp.com
Thanks and have a nice weekend from the Whistle Taxi App Team

Other info . . Just to let you all know, we have updated our app and we are growing in number over the last few weeks. We are being reported as the most available taxi service in Dublin. The Whistle Taxi App project has been set up and supported solely by the drivers themselves. We will bring back availability to you through our own app. Wait for our updates, we will show you cars soon to clear during busy times . . update next week :-)
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

I was supposed to be added to the What's App group but that hasn't happened. Any news on the meeting that was to take place this month?

Might be significant that the "drivers own app" seems to have evolved into an app that's "supported solely by the drivers themselves".

How could you take any company seriously when their opening online advert was a disgruntled customer verbally
abusing a taxi driver over a legal 2Euro PUC, tearing off his roof-sign and smashing it to pieces in a public place ?

Whistle seem to take their lead from Kalinack, who indeed was probably the greatest Bull-shitter ever since
Jesus Christ himself !

I have not had 1 person in the car who has mentioned Whistle. They have zero brand awareness in my opinion.Has anyone even seen a roof sign with their logo on it.

I had one client mention it before Christmas. She enquired whether I was with Whistle or mytaxi so she could cancel the right one having hailo'd on both simultaneously. Aside from that I have seen some advertisements on the backs of buses up above in Dublin although they're often covered with a few layers of dirt.

Since operation Toners when the Rodent went in to see the Kid in the Dungeon and I wrote to him explaining the benifits of reintroducing the PUC the game is up .Mytaxi  are the winners .According to a report in the paper they carried 4 million passengers in the last third of last year .That put an extra 8 million euro in drivers pockets .Hopefully the new CEO will listen to drivers as it has been proved we know the business best .Whistle have absolutely zero chance of breaking into the dispatch industry to a level where they cam become relevant .The idea was good but the team behind it were poor .

Don't forget that MyTaxi themselves made 960,000 by reintroducing the PUC

That was pointed out to them in the written submission Vicki both them and us would prosper from the reintroduction of the PUC and more drivers would cover the work .Before the PUC I covered about 10 jobs a week I at least double that now as long as the system is fair and jobs are offered to all I will work it .

I also pointed it out to them over 2 years that they could earn 24 cent on every job and they obviously ignored me for 2 years. All that lost extra income

The Rodent also discussed with them the possibility of maximum commission .They sort of did that with the latest promo no more commission after you do 36 jobs
