No.

DNS servers are used to translate internet web addresses into english words that we can understand and there's lots of them around the world.  Think of them as telephone directories.  Eir, Virgin etc each have their own 'telephone directory'.  They'll be obliged to block those websites from *their* telephone directory when you lookup your favourite websites. 

Change to Google's DNS servers and you're good to go.  NOTE: The movie companies can still track you if they want to.  And Google will be tracking your movie habits!  I think we have a '3 strikes & you're out' policy in Ireland so don't get caught 3 times by the same ISP!

Sky is investing heavily in regaining control of it's content. Cardsharing is gone, they've even secured BT Sports, Racing UK and the Discovery Channels on the Sky platform over the last few days having secured their own channels a few months back. The focus will move to IPTV next. The way things are going the only way to watch "premium" channels will be by full price subscriptions or going down the local... cunts.

^ I take that back... BT Sports, Racing UK and the Discovery Channels are working on my cardshare bosca again. Musta been a problem with the line when I last tried 'em.
