Mostly behind..very rarely in the direction i'm headin(think we had this convo before)but what amazes me is the distance to jobs because the MyTaxi mapping doesn't want you to do u turns and directs you the longest way possible,i think RC alluded to this and the fact that passengers tend to cancel when they see arrival time/distance from them even though you might well be beside them.

I took a pre-book this morning at 6.43am fer a 7.20am booking just so as to have priority fer the weekend,
that was definately the most boring 37 minute wait of my life !

In order to do pre-bookings your tying yourself up for at least 30 minutes before hand..... So why bother?

There are drivers sitting at home all day robbing the decent jobs off the screen.Just means that anything left on it is shite.There are drivers only covering southside to the airport all day.Easy money if yer feeding yerself all the juicy airport jobs.

When they first introduced the Ambassador cars that was was the deal.
Always priority and 8 cent off fuel.
Asked a driver last night who is an ambassador and he confirmed it.

They are using the app correctly to their own advantage.
If your a day driver just pick out a few jobs that will get you going in the morning.
I know of drivers that take 6 jobs off the system the night before and they will all run in with each other.

I very seldom bother even looking at them, but as I had a very late start last night
and a late finish this morning I thought that I should get my priority sorted early fer
the weekend. I won't be ever doing that again, I shudda stuck to Plan A !
