I remember when the pint went over £1. The publican introduced the half litre glass to keep the price under £1.
I remember it meself circa '83, there was pandemonium when the pint went over the Pound !

2nd one is Oslo, all the roads are clear of snow and the major junction we can see looks too good to be irish

I travelled with some nervous fliers a couple of years back. Having researched the issue they concluded that the safest seats are in the middle of the aircraft beside the wings... seemed odd to me as that's where the engines are but sitting there seemed to relax them a little.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
