This is one step in the direction we need to go if we are serious about growing Cork as a sustainable city.” Thats how College Green started in Dublin first ban private cars then busses and taxies .The Mungbeansandalwearing tree hugging hippies have moved South to warmer climates .The two main shopping Streets in Dublin are pedestrianised ,wont be long before that madness comes to Cork .

Taxis are only banned from College Green for 3 hours per day in one direction hence your post is almost 6.26% accurate, which I guess is better than normal.

The traffic problem with Cork is the same as every other city in the world as that there are just too many cars.
And the solution is 'There is No Solution !'.  Just the same as every other city.
