Story from a passenger:

His Girlfriend got into a Cab on Camden Street to his house in Stocking Wood.

She was very drunk and didn't have enough cash for the journey.

She asked the driver to go to an ATM en route.

Because of her drunken state, she couldn't manage the transaction at the ATM.

The driver volunteered to try. He came back and said there was no joy.

The Taxi arrived at the Boyfriends house, and the driver was paid the fare in cash.

The following day when the girl sobered up, she checked her account and discovered €600 had been withdrawn by the driver.

The typical passenger had no details of the driver, or of the trip.

When they were going up the driveway she told your man to switch off his high beams because she had children asleep inside. When he was driving off he deliberately pressed the horn a few times waking the kids up Joe.

Total Bolloxology most if not all of those ATM have cameras Thin Blue would of had him in hours if this ACTUALLY happened .Story probably came from Loving Dublin or some other Drama Sheet .

I think I posted this on the other channel but I heard from two different passenger about incidents where the taxi driver took their mobiles as security while they went to the ATM then fukked off with thier fancy phones.

Both customers said the culprit was a black lad.

Bet it was an immigrant. Never trust an immigrant with your ATM card and PIN. That said, she mighta taken the money out and lost it down the bookies herself and concocted the story while drowning her sorrows. Ifn it was a bloke you'd nearly put a few quid on that being the case.

Scammers are now giving old defunct mobile phones to Taxi drivers as collateral, while they head to the house "To get money from their Ma".

a few years ago about 4am i picked up a little cunt along the sea front in kilbarrick going to sherriff street.
said to me i'll havta do him a deal because he was low on money.
as i slowed down to toss him out he assured me he'd get the money from his mother so i gambled and on i went.
he said can i use your phone to ring her so she'll be up when we arrive. he says his phone battery is dead. grand.
he rings her up and i can hear hes talking to somebody and not just pretending.
pull up outside an apartment block while he ran in. I'll leave my phone here with you he says. grand.
comes back out 5 minutes later and says he was just going around the corner.
he directs me to a cul de sac with bollards called annesley avenue.
I gripped my bradawl thinking he was gonna attack me.
My mothers house is on the other side of the bollards he says.
Little cunt had the neck to say do you trust me? No i don't pal. you're on my cctv camera if you don't come back with the money, I bluffed.
he did'nt do a legger he just sorta did a bit of a jog and fucked off. leaving a dummy phone with me the first time was now clearly a sucker job.
i redialled the number he'd called on my phone and explained my predicament and the outstanding €20 bill yet to be settled.
had a riveting conversation with some fuckin dreg who confirmed he was in on me being cunted over.
and that was that.
