Ennis taxi driver stabbed 6 times after fare dispute

An Ennis taxi driver got into a fare dispute with someone who did a runner.  The taxi driver got out of the car, chased after & caught the guy.  The guy's family came on the scene and beat the sh1te out of him.

He was stabbed 6 times by a 19yr old.  The 19yr has no previous convictions but first came to Gardai attention at 9yrs of age!

The rest of the males in the family have at least 20 convictions each, with the 26 yr old brother amassing 110 convictions.

Sentencing is in October so I guess we'll hear the sob stories then about how hard their lives have been.

It's hard to put into words the contenpt I feel for these scumbags.i only hope the driver makes a full recovery.when you think about the example the head scumbag sets his sons it would make you sick

Sounds like a family of pikies.

Unfortunately the driver broke rule #1 and learned the hard way.

I wonder how many times previously that other drivers didn't give chase to piece of filth....the whole lot of them probably do....fukin drain on society!

picked a fuckin pikey up the other night.

oh bollix here we go.
was only a tenner run so i gambled on him.
"can you charge my phone."
Yes no problem.
starts fucking with the window.
starts fucking with the seat
starts fucking with the radio.
noticed a slight bang off him when he got in but nothing major.
as the trip wore on it developed in to full blown industrial strength body odour.
lowered the fucking window down all the way and stuck my head out the window.
dropped him off.
takes his phone back.

i don't care. out of the car.
puts his hand out to shake mine.
get out of my sight.
he distracted me so much that i did'nt realise that i'd left my hazard lights on the whole trip when i initially picked him up.
had to wipe down the leather seats and everything he touched.

I know if I got stabbed.... Ide probably never taxi again..... Can yu notget compensation from the state?

Happens to the best of us....got caught out a few years back,a couple of nights before me hollyers by three of them in their late twenties,what threw me was,they were well dressed and outside the Brian Boru boozer near Harts corner,they were headin to Ballymun,stopped at Carton Way,two of them got out...to score some gear no doubt,i insisted the other one get out...he reluctantly did sayin that it was "scrimination".....called it a night after that,went on me holidays and forgot about the scum!!
