I have Sunshine on but based on the Docs recommendation I put 4FM  FFS Discodrivel I was dropping Big Dommos eldest daughters first boyfriend down to Dolphins Barn to pick up his youngfellas kid from her Grannys as he has custody for the weekends and he was saying he remembered most of them tunes playing on a little transistor radio he had in the St Pats training unit when he was on his first sentence .Its great the way music brings back memories .

I listen to it every night as soon as Boylan Fooks off at about 1am,
usually classic Eighties non-stop till 6am.
Midnight till 3 or 4am on Sat night/Sun morning classic 60's,
Roy Orbison, Elvis, Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Shadows,
Beach Boys, The Animals, Eagles, Etc.
the Real Classics !

What amazes me about 4FM is the amount of young people I have in my cab who listen to the old Eighties tunes and sing along to them knowing every word, even though the songs were most likely released before they were even born !

When your out there on your own after dropping in the Sticks late at night it can be nice to have the likes of Davy Jones or John Lennon or Louie Armstrong as your soul companions on the long journey home.

Not unusual Belker, sure I used to listen to Tom Jones when I was younger.

Nah, its a generational thing. Your kids are gonna know the tunes you listened to when they were around you. I'm happy enough to pass on my musical tastes to me chiddlers, not sure their mates will be though. It makes some tunes "timeless" as they say.
