I knew a buck who had OCD and ADHD, everything had to be perfect, but not for very long.

When fueling up I have to have it at exactly €30 €40 or €50 if I go 1c over I go and fill up to the next full amount

I used to have that one too but since the introduction of the Circle K/MyTaxi 8 cent off per liter, it's the Devils own job to try to get it to fall at exact amounts, I usually go with 31.80 hopeing to pay 30 or 42.40 hopeing to pay 40 but I have never got it spot on yet.

I nearly had it on Friday night, I put in 31.80 and the chungwan charged me 30Euro, I was about to ask fer the receipt to post it on here when I saw her screen read as 29.99.
I tried again last night aiming fer 31.81 but put in 31.82, disappointment oozzed  from me as I again saw her screen read at 30.01.

@ Lizzzy, I hope you are the Galway Taxi driver that I was thinking about because just last night I was talking about you. True story.

I picked up this fare last night (Sat) in Cork city center at about 8pm, a very pretty young lass who was very well dressed and her young boyfriend also well dressed fer a night out on the town in Cork city, she seemed very glum sitting in to the front seat and requested to be brought Back to the Clayton hotel. No chat from either and there didn't seem to be any friction between them but just a disappointed mood in the cab, so I inquired was everything OK ? The young lass told me that they had tried 6 or 7 Cork pubs and been refused in all because they were under 23.

The 'Over 23' rule is a bugbear of mine, and I asked her their ages, she told me she was 20 and her boyfriend was 19 and they were down from Galway fer the weekend but as they couldn't get in anywhere they thought it best just to go back to the residents bar in the hotel.

This was not sitting well with me because she was a very placid charming young lass and her boyfriend seemed like a through gentleman. I said to her; "I'll take ye to a city pub and charge you the fare to the pub, I will escort ye in and if ye don't get served then I will drive ye back to the Clayton hotel fer free", they both agreed with smiles on their faces.
Along the way I told them; "Right, we need our story straight before we enter the bar, my name is 'Ken' and my online Taxi mate 'Lizzzy' is a Galway Taxi driver and your his daughter down fer the weekend who can't get served because your under 23, You got it ?".
She replied; "Yes, I got it !" and I repeated the statement to them once more fer good measure.

We arrive at Coughlans on Douglas street (Mine and Korky's local about once every 3 months) they pay me the 7Euro fare and I walk in to the pub in front of them, luckily my mate Pat is behind the bar at the front of the counter and I explain the situation to him and he sez; "As long as they have I.D they are more than welcome", I turn to leave with my job done and the young couple thank me fer my efforts, as I'm walking out the door I hear Pat say to them; "And how do ye know Ken ?", so just aswell we had our homework done in the cab before our arrival.

Later that night at about 9.30pm I'm ranked outside that same pub which is my most favourite if only ranking spot in the city and Pat the barman comes over to me and sez;"Jeez, there as good as gold the Two of em, there sat in front of the fire supping and chatting to the locals and sur' the music will be starting off in a few minutes time".
I said to Pat; "Du kno, I didn't want em going back ta Galway 'n thinking Cork is a Shitty place".
Pat replies; "Well they won't now anyway, we all did our Good Deed for today, UP DE REBELS !".

Your man was probably looking forward to a nights shagging and ended up watching a crowd of impotent old timers ogling his bird and playing with their fiddles, waking up this morning with a headache and carry sauce all over his shirt anall...
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

It is (if you mean drink) but most of the city center pubs in Cork have an over 23's policy at the weekend.

That's unlikely, Coughlans has won many national IMRO awards for it's live music sessions including in 2014 Live music venue of the year which takes in all live music venues including Croke park and the 02;
