It's a bit of a kick in de nuts alrite DM, but surely someone in the Boh's management team should have known more about the legal side of using such an image, even Bubba spotted the difficulties on day 1.
I hope Bob's son gets one in the post sent anoymous like.

Who owns the clenched fist as far as I  remember it was a black power salute at the olympics .So now have Bohs got another problem as the image is political and FIFA ban all political emblems on jerseys .Is this Dejavoux again .Dollymount point out my concernabout the political symbolism to your club .

@ John M, I read an article about that Fist symbol a few days ago, it is not political, it stands fer a sign of unity, Etc. and seemingly this time they did go through all the correct channels but possibly forgetting about FIFA and UEFA.

The raised fist, or the clenched fist, is a symbol of solidarity and support. It is also used as a salute to express unity, strength, defiance, or resistance.RESISTANCE =black power political .I just contacted the club on the issue .

The 1968 Olympics Black Power Salute was a political demonstration conducted by African-American athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos during their medal ceremony on October 16, 1968, at the 1968 Summer Olympics in the Olympic Stadium in Mexico City.

I could easily see someone I.E. Bob Marley's estate objecting to the last image, but I really can't see anyone objecting to this image, but ya never know there is a lorra busybodies out there with nothing to do and all day to do it.

Maybe they should have went with the other Bob, as in Sir Bob,
The Rats played Dalymount in 1977 and I doubt Mr Geldof would
have any problem with his image being used fer a Dublin club.

Id stop supporting them if they put that prick on the shirts.this is the fukker who criticized the 1916 leadership, accepred a knighthood from the British queen, and had the cheek to challenge Nigel Farage on a flotella on the river themes on a matter that was to do eith the british people alone ie brexit

Bob Marley`s estate collects all royalties due from his music, videos and image rights, first and only point of contact. Maybe Boh`s should have used a print of the poster advertising the Dalymount gig.
