We celebrated Black Friday fer all the seemingly special offers that were available to us on junk goods supplied by every retailer and supermarket in the country and they were all laffing at us fools buying their junk. Next up is Cyber Monday which will be an online similarity.

Both dates introduced to us by our Yankee cousin's and embraced by our own retailers. To be fair the Yanks are a b@stard nation of mixed cultures with little history. Most of today's Yanks have no culture or decency and the only God they answer to is the Yankee Dollar.

It's a load of Bollix !

Next up is Christmas where we will all celebrate the birth of Christ and quite a few of us will break a good few of his Commandments, most notably;
Tho shalt not drink to excess.
Tho shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife.
Tho shalt not commit adultery.
Etc. Etc.

Whom even believes that the fella ever existed ?
How many will go to Mass and actually pray to him ?

Then St. Stephens day fer yet another celebration,
Who de Fook was he ?

And then in less than Two months time One of Ireland's most Historic events will take place,
The 21st Jan 2019 will be the Centenary of the sitting of the First ever Irish Dail in the
Mansion house in 1919.

This is our equivalent of the Yanks '4th of July' or France's 'Bastille day', Etc.
But because the retailers or supermarkets can't coin-in off of it, bar selling a few Tri-colours,
then it is hardly mentioned and most don't even know that the Centenary date is approaching.

I'm not a Historian, but I do know that many Irish men and women died fer this Dail to sit in 1919.

So fer me personally, Fook Black Friday, Fook Cyber Monday, Fook Chrimbo and St Stephens day,
because they are all dates that I have no interest in Celebrating.

But come Monday 21st January 2019, I will be sat in a Cork pub celebrating the Centenary of our
Independence and remembering and toasting all those who went before me and who died for it.

We've broken all historical connection to those yrs now. Poor bastards who wasted their lives to fight an unwinnable rising in 1916.....independent nations don't pay 42% of European debt because a shower of gurriers in Armani suits tell them they owe it.

1922.......ratification.

1937....became Ireland and constitution in place(torn up)

1949.....republic......where citizens are sovereign........laughable when you look at how they are treated by their politicians.
