We used to need the roof sign to attract customers. I don't really need one anymore as I work for mytaxi. Maybe NTA could consider making us buy new significantly smaller signs?
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Lets not forget the Fookin roof-sign !!
The roof sign, persay isn’t a sticker.
It can contain stickers on the skins but it not made of stickers

I remember a day when the number were on the inside of the roof sign and then painted over with yellow paint, Twas something similar for the TAXI part

........All discs(NCT, tax and insurance) are not stickers,.....
What attaches these discs to your windscreen ?

Basically what I'm saying is that we already have so much crap attached to a Taxi, what difference is more MyTaxi stickers gonna make ? Except that you get better work from MyTaxi fer it !

the discs aren’t attached to the windscreen though.
I’ve had enough different stickers on different cars over the years, not anymore(if I can help it)
There’s plenty of work up here to not need Priority status all the time.

With the new 24 hour bus on the go down here the midweek night time work can be scarce.
My last 3 shifts all 12.30am to 3.30am Mon/Tues/Wed nights.
Monday, No priority, 2 jobs.
Tuesday started with an urgent pre-book fer priority, 7 jobs.
Wednesday, Priority, 8 jobs + 2 Scrubs.

They are either attached to your windscreen or dash by STICKERS,
unless you screwed or glued them in to place ?

Very surprised on the way back from Walkinstown last night to fill up at a Special K filling station for €1.24. when Harolds Cross is €1.32 as is Amiens St. Is this the cheapest in Dublin? Are they making a margin?

And they're the smaller ones, a result of shrinkflation.

Have existing Hyrids/Electrics to retro fit a warning sound for travelling at low speed after the recent EU ruling.

Don't think so.The leccy cars being sold right now have a button to disable it so it's not mandatory to have one AFAIK.I've heard them and I'd be inclined to turn it off most of the time then maybe use it sometimes when passing through Templbar or on the quays when the cyclists are blocking the road.I've no sympathy for the folks stepping off the footpath into traffic then blaming the driver because they weren't looking.

The one thing about hybrids and leccy cars is you notice other noises a lot more than a regular cars.Especially on any thing other than a Tesla. The budget leccy cars aren't yet up to Mercedes levels of quietness on the inside.

If it changes I'll just buy a bicycle bell argos.
