Lymp drivers give 10% discount to punters on account PLUS 80 freight. Averaging 160.
Although some overcharge all the state accounts to make up for the charge...allegedly.

A Lynk driver would have to do 40 account jobs and earn €400 in accounts to be paying €160

Ken sent me a SMS message confirming 16 jobs completed at 23:04, no update on the 20. I completed 18 jobs by 2a.m. myself after an early start at 18:17. Woulda got the 20 but for a couple of long runs but hey ho, the 40 notes covers freight for the night - jeez when I worked for C2K we got a whole week's freight for €80 with no priority, immigrants, ambassadors or hospitality fees. Anywaysanall, I finished in Drogheda at c.02:29, phone was hopping with mytaxi offers up there but I was too pig headed to take anything as the bonus finished at 02:00.

^ I guess a welcome side effect (from mytaxi's point of view) was that I didn't bother running Flag. As I didn't work Wednesday or Friday I was already well out of the running for their bonus so there was no point to allowing it compete for internet resources.

I personally think working MyTaxi jobs are a no brainer. I've never had any hassle from anyone one using it, no haggling, no food, nothing. And when it's busy people are generally delighted I to get a taxi though the app, which results in happy customers/happy driver.

Same here but it's not foolproof. There was a spate of robberies carried out by immigrants using the app up above in Dublin a while back. I apply the same criteria as I would to street/rank fares though i.e. if they're not fit to travel they don't travel... however, since I started working for Hail0 in 2014, I've only had cause to refuse service to two intending passengers.

Your right RT, it's not foolproof, and it's only a matter of time before a get a dickhead to ruin my night. If there is any problems, MyTaxi have an office and they accommodate you best they can. If you pick up a street job, you don't know who they are, or if they have money, and you have no comeback.

I like the added security of paying 12% for less hassle, although I would like if that amount was less.

Not sure how far as "best they can" extends. It would be a pretty simple exercise to equip all cars with panic buttons, etc. At the end of the day drivers are an inconvenience to mytaxi, nothing more than scum they have to tolerate for the time being - they've already outlined their objectives regarding autonomous cars.

Decided I'd strap myself into the car full of painkillers.
Went out to the car to find a puncture.
With the bad back it took me an hour and a half to change the wheel.
No Sunday service unless you want to pay 40 quid.
Got out to work and only got account/card .
