As fer the MyTaxi 'Chrimbo Bobo' fer me;

To date; I didn't work the First Friday night,
but got the Fifty on the next Sat night.

The Second Friday night me Joe broke down,
but I did make the 16 fer the Forty on the Sat.

I got the full 50 both nights the weekend after,
and again got the Fifty on St Stephens night.
And most likely that I will again make the Fifty
on NYE to bring my Chrimbo Bobo to 290Euro.

I got €40 on the 8th and €40 on the 14th. I'm pretty sure I only made the cut on the 14th because there was a withdrawal of service that I was unaware of. I could have got it on the 15th but I finished up about 23:42 and went for a pint instead. I didn't work any of the other bonus dates and I haven't yet decided whether I'll work New Year's Eve or not, although I'm leaning towards working as I've done a lot more socialising this year than usual, way more than my fair share.

I know I'm gonna get 'Slated' fer my above post, but in reality getting the Bobo is a 'Piece of Piss' to achieve, any Taxi driver worth 'His Salt' should have it all 'Done and Dusted' by Midnight. As the offer was a tad Derisory in my eyes then I never tried too hard fer it, but I just worked my normal hours which fortunately fell in more or less exactly as the MyTaxi 'Bobo' hours.

Obviously easier on the Friday shifts this year as, to date, the vast majority of the fleet would have supported the withdrawal of service on the 14th and the 21st. I didn't support the first one myself simply because I didn't know about it.

I will offer you Stephen a Challenge fer a Score a head on who can complete the most jobs between 4pm and whatever time you wish to finish up at on NYE, this includes Street hails, MyTaxi jobs or anything at all that is a Taxi Job.
I will set the starting time at 4pm and you can set the Finishing time as you see fit ?

Here we go... blame the immigrants. The facts suggest that immigrant drivers made up the majority of those who protested at the depot up above in Dublin. The press release posted on here (by the erm I think) was clearly written by an immigrant with relatively poor English language skills.

You'd win that challenge hands down. I don't maximise turnover or jobs covered when I work. As I generally (particularly when it's busy) only pick up north of Collins Avenue and east of the N2 I lose productivity on any drops outside of that geographical area... and I rarely start work before 19:16.

And your right VD, your a day driver and those Bobo hours would not suit you.
I'm a night driver and those Bobo hours suit me almost exactly, I'm not mad about the idea of doing a few hours on tariff 1, as I Fookin hate Tariff 1, but if'n your getting an extra 2.50 per job from MyTaxi, that easily covers the tariff difference.

Tariff 3 is de Kiddie ! NYE 8pm till 8am and de Bobo to boot ! Bring it on !!
