Jobs for the boys or girls
« on: January 20, 2019, 12:39:20 pm »
Talking to a lad last night he works in Jamses Hospital .He was saying that when the new hospital is finished they will be hiring 20 gardeners to look after the grounds and new gardens .Might be an opportunity if you have kids who dont want factory or office work to go do Horticulture course .He recons most of the other jobs will be filled by existing workers in the hospitals that are moving in but they will need gardners .He said Cloger Road tech are set to run a course .

Serious overspending issues...........MCWilliams has suggested stopping and just doing what everybody told them to...............build it off the M50. The craziest idea ever to go near the city with this. Jobs will be gone to connected folk anyway.

My old man was a freelance planning expert worked for a lot of builders and I learned a little .If I had Coin I would try and buy a gaff in Cameron Square on the North west  corner of the hospital good for rental but its obvious the hospital will try to buy the lot for expansion .it makes more sense to build a nuclear powerstation in Neilstown than it does to build the hospital there .The Judicial enquiry into the fraud that occured in this project will cost hundreds more millions in legal fees .

Now, you really are talking there. Millionaires being awarded costs and old ladies doing time for not having a DD set up for the TV licence.

January's always alright... well, except during the recession but even then it wasn't worse than any other month, in fact better than most. No work in January is just a myth developed to accompany the myth that we make a fortune in December. Sure, you get a busy week in December and a relatively quiet week in January but, outside of that, all the Christmas parties are at the weekend in December when there'd be no shortage of work without them, mid week December is pure shite compared to midweek January but the party goers who queue for an average of 56 hours for a cab home don't see that... hence we got into the habit of feeding the myths.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

It's deffo quieter on the day shift in January. So far since 23 of December I've taken 150 quid over a day and a half of driving. Not even enough to cover the overheads.I'm sure I can get more if I tried but I won't.It's probably not helping that I'm unranked on the Mytaxi app.Sometimes ya need to let the bank account run nearly empty before ya find the motivation to get stuck in again.

Sounds good maybe next year..I am doing bits around the gaff getting prepared for a new kitchen that I'll never use in Febuary.Painting ,floor concreting then levelling somehow and maybe putting down some flooring. These are jobs I've been putting off for months.I'm a so so DIYer.Happy to pay a professional but the standard of workmanship so far has been a bit disappointing. So I end up doing it myself.Every fukker wants 200/300 a day but never cleans up or finishes the fiddly bits without hassling them.

Have to get back to DIY myself... I used to love painting but I've been a lazy cunt the last few years, well good few years.... there's not a square inch of the gaff that doesn't need a coat of paint... and women love blokes to be covered in paint and shit when they get home...
