I agree....but in the event of an accident i guarantee you the parents won't be held responsible....it'll be the one with the insurance.

Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.

As Vicci said the hospitals bring the kid to the car so in the event of an accident the amount of Barrasters shifting blame would be great to watch .We are exempt from SUPPLYING car seats but are we allowed transport ferrel kids not in a seat .

Jaysus, you're a cynical auld soul  lol

(2012)  https://www.irishtimes.com/news/exemption-for-taxis-over-child-seats-to-stay-despite-penalty-point-offence-1.530033

The regulations for taxi drivers stipulate that an infant who is under three years of age can be carried on a back seat by an adult as long as that adult is wearing a seatbelt, usually around the child.

A child more than three years of age does not need to be in a car seat if travelling in a taxi, but they must wear a seatbelt and not be in the passenger seat.

Siptu taxi branch organiser Gerry Brennan said the new legislation appeared to have been “quite grey” but he was pleased that the issue had been clarified.

Mr Brennan said taxis were exempt because it was not practical for them to bring bulky car seats which would make it much more difficult to carry other luggage.
Getting old is compulsory whilst growing up is voluntary.

Seat belt around the child is very dangerous.

They might not fly through the windscreen....but i'd say the choking or broken neck might kill them!!

I never said the hostibles bring the baby to the car, you did. I said that they won’t let you leave the hospital if the child isn’t in a car seat.

Oh and I carried all 3 of my kids from the ward to the car. Maybe you need to start working different hospitals

The average woman gets horny 6 times a day or more. If we were to believe the  hype, men are walking around with permanent  horns when the reverse is true. Just invite the next door neighbourette in for a cuppa when your mrs has popped out for 5 and watch her hackles rise when she gets back.
