If any driver had the intelligence they'd ask to see the contract between the cab company and the receiver of the drivers discount.
If they'd more intelligence, they'd leave.

Its fear silver,I have learned that most taxi drivers have no balls when it comes to standibg up for themselves. Look at the way they allow scum to treat them like employees, instead of reminding this scum that THEY  are actully the employers

I heard Ebbs even brought in a rule at the start that if you worked with  him,you could not work with mytaxi. Absolutely astonishing, and whats even more astonishing is, the drivers actully accepted this

I told Ebbs when he was buying Blue Cabs and the drivers rent, that my rent was not for sale by Pat Claffey.
Finally he was told that the might have fooled the 50 or less drivers in the room (Although he alleges he bought 250)
Maybe he puts 250 drivers through his books.

I told him to give back my €250  deposit and  close my account.
Maybe some guys like being indentured?

Think of the power an App provider has over its subscribers. The biggest multi-State manipulated insight into self-employment and revenue collection in history and it will evolve and evolve. Marxism requires the eradication of the middle-classes and those aspirants sitting nervously to enter the realm.

To be fair, freight with Irish dispatch firms was a lot lower than full-timers working for mytaxi have to pay and the Irish dispatch firms employ a lot more Irish people in their depots. I think mytaxi's success is largely down to it's open door policy. While full-time scum is paying through the nose it gives the part-time scum the opportunity to work for a dispatch firm at much more favourable rates. Back when I worked for C2K there were no immigrant drivers on the fleet (that has changed, I have seen a black lad working for them recently) whereas nearly all the immigrant drivers work for mytaxi so it has clearly given them the opportunity to cover radio work that previously wasn't available.

Of course, even with all the immigrants and part-time scum working for mytaxi and all the country drivers travelling up to Dublin to work for them they still complain that they can't cover the work. Where HSE work is concerned I guess that becomes a matter of life and death so the Minister will have to do something to get more cars/drivers on the fleet. They already use clapped out shiteboxes masquerading as limousines and hackneys to cover taxi fares so what next?

If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

To be fair to mytaxi it has tried everything to get the work covered... it's even looking into renting out scooters to potential riders.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Is there a possibility that Mytaxi could be in a partnership with the likes of NRC and have set this up to keep Ebbs from taking the work?

A courier company I worked for used to buy smaller companies all the time.So when they were about to lose one big account they'd send in a slightly cheaper quote under a different name and retain the work. For the first few weeks we were told to keep our helmets on so the receptionists wouldn't remember us.

Only reason I ask is the last survey had questions asking me how I felt about NRC and VIP.They were fishing for something.Couldn't really understand it at the time.
