I wasn't referring to you at all, Dalyer. The old-timers in question being those choosing to flag down versus use an App. If everyone under 30 is prepared to use an App to find themselves that "someone special" why would they want to get their BoHo beards and tats all wet by walking from Facebook to Café Android.

To be fair to mytaxi it has tried everything to get the work covered... it's even looking into renting out scooters to potential riders.
There is a shortage of Taxies on Monday to Friday from 8am to 9am and again on Monday to Friday from 5pm to 6pm, also on Friday and Saturday nights from 1.30am to 3.30am, that's 14 hours out of a 168 hour week, fer the other 154 hours we are all sitting in our cabs patiently waiting on the next job.

One of my regular customers now works for INRIX.
The reason why demand is high in Dublin at certain times:

Will be split 3 ways; thats why Ebbs hasnt been shouting from the rooftops trying to get fellas in; he's not entirely sure what he has yet. I'm curious to see how MyTaxi will work operating a 24/7 call center to service the contract.

Great work in the main but they screwed it up with the discounting. Give me someone ill over a walking tablet factory in his early 20's any day.

A work in progress but well down the line, I hear. The system needs rejigging so as not to totally exclude fellows and girls with roof signs.

Nothing to do with Lynk; just a person with a little bit of knowledge!

Will customers be forced to travel with immigrants? A lot of them will be used to Irish drivers.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

To be fair, a lot of older folk are opposed to multiculturisation. As they won't be the ones ordering the taxis or clapped out shiteboxes masquerading as limousines, as the case may be, they won't have any control over who/what is sent. How would an ill, racist, retired taximan cope with Sunday in his 2006 Lexus turning up to drive him to hospital and not a roof-sign or meter in sight? It could be the death of him.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
