Bitcoins.
« on: February 18, 2019, 08:38:07 pm »
I don't know a lot about them but I had an auld fella in the cab last night, he recognized my name from my I.D. and asked me if I knew an old work colleague of mine, he then told me (well steamed) that himself and my old work colleague had gone in to the bitcoin business some years ago, I hadn't much interest in his conversation.
It was only a very short journey 6.20 on the meter but he gave me 30Euro saying; "That's grand, keep it, I have loads !".

To be honest I didn't, I never had any interest in the stock market or any of the Get Rich quick schemes, I know what I know, I used to know gambling (pre online) and prob still do know greyhound training.
Today I know how to drive a Taxi sucessfully so best to stick to what you know best, let the Sharks and the minnows fight out the Bitcoin issue, it's not fer me.

Yer-man-o was saying something like that but I wasn't paying much attention, seemingly if I remember he said he was in at the start, anyways not too many people pay 30Euro fer a 6.20 Taxi fare home.

Can't say Bitcoin ever appealed to me but a few years back I had to buy one or a bit of one to pay my then Cardshare (TV) provider, it struck me as an underworld currency but I still have some change from the bit I bought, worth less than €1.27 when I bought it, dunno what it's worth (or where it is, to be honest) now!

It dropped a good bit but if you was in from th start you’d still be quids in.

Thing is Belker, is he happy? Or has his missus of 16 years been screwing around with a work colleague?

Yates was on Newstalk yesterday sayin he bought his last 2 new cars from 2 single betting tips. Has to do it every 10 years for a new car.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.
