I don't use the Premium car wash because I'm afraid it will damage the stickers/decals/county roofie stickers.
I tend to go with the budget option with 50% off fer FN Ambassadors (4 Euro).

I've got to do the suitability soon.  How are people finding it?  Have they got stricter or was it all just a rumour?
No, it's not a rumour Watty, they have got a lot stricter.

Did my suitability and passed!  Kinda surpised because my seat covers aren't great and the taxi has a few more bumps than last time.  Washing it for the test really revealed all the scratches from pax getting in and out over the years.

The procedure has changed up here in Dublin (Northpoint).  In the past, you'd walk out to the car with the guy and talk to him while he did his thing.  He'd see you were a nice guy and pass your taxi  lol   Now they make you wait in the office while they do the test.

And they stapled a 'next of kin' form to my insurance cert.  Not sure if the NTA is promoting it or if the tester saw something about me and decided I needed to fill it out  O:-)

Same with me watty in Greenhills a few weeks ago, as far as I remember they always left us upstairs while they did their check.
