At least on the very bad nights/days we always get something to bring home after a shift.

I had this very charming pretty black lady in the cab last Wednesday night going to work in a Cork lap dancing club, I have brought her before a few times and she is always a very pleasant conversationalist, she makes no bones about what she does as she sez; "Fer extra cash" on top of her daytime state job.
Anyway on Wednesday night she told me that the previous Two nights she had No customers at all meaning that she went home with Nothing, actually even less as she had to pay her Taxi fare in and out at a Tenner a pop. She told me again as she had before; "The club take 50% of my dance money and there is no set/base rate fer just working".

Lap dancing and whoring are not irish pass times .Picked up Peter Stringfellow and two of his goons years back when he was opening his club in Parnell Street told him it would flop .Told him Irish wont pay a few 100 for a cheap bottle of bubbly and a dance we have too much charm.We just go into any pub and chat up women we never spend money on the package if we are not buying the contents .He asked me was I talking Irish I told him im talking the truth Paddy and his pound wont be tucked into a G string .Club lasted about three months then went broke .

Dont be minding what you read a few locals protested but he made no money Irish lads wont pay a ton for a bottle of bubbly just to watch a half stripped dancer .I have never dropped an Irishman to a lap dancing club only ever foreign tourists .In the 1970 Playboy opened a Bunny Club on Talbot street it only lasted a few weeks as well .

That's very true John.When I was on my stags in Hamburg with a few lads we got fooked out for not buying any dances.Too interested in drinking.The whole strip club thing is a bit weird.

Dont be minding what you read a few locals protested but he made no money Irish lads wont pay a ton for a bottle of bubbly just to watch a half stripped dancer .I have never dropped an Irishman to a lap dancing club only ever foreign tourists .In the 1970 Playboy opened a Bunny Club on Talbot street it only lasted a few weeks as well .

That wasn`t Playboy John. The club was called The Fiesta Club and the girls Fiesta Fawns. A mate of mine married one of them, lasted about 6 years.  The club was in the old cinema, think it was called the Cinerama.
