Whoever advised Stringfellow that Parnell St was the place to open his Lap dancing Club was really on point that day.. :-\ :-\,you can still see remnants of the facade outside.

Yeah, always thought the location of Parnell Street was absolutely daft. It might have succeeded on Leeson St or surrounds but not a hope on Parnell St even if it didn't have the nightly protests from the God Squad protecting their childer. It's no surprise that the location is now currently a giant pound shop which is about the correct level of typical retail on Parnell St

Nah....lap-dancing never took off here because the Irish have a inherent fear of sex and sexual expression. To me lap dancing is load o Bollix... And the thought of paying money and not getting yur hole sounds like a futile ting to do Lip.... Not that I ever jumped on a prostitutes.... It be like throwing your bike up OConnor Street on a wet Tuesday afternoon....bit like football..... I fuking hate watching football but I had a talent for it and love manipulation of the ting in the park .... But it's about doing it and not looking at it........
