As I told ye all DCC have rezoned a lot of dublins industrial estates .Hino Gerry Harris has just become the owner of Irelands most valuable land 32 storey tower blocks allalong the Naas Road .Jamestown Road in Finglas also rezoned residential and parts of the Dublin Industrial in Cabra/Glasnevin .Where are all these people living in these gaffs going to earn rent .

When ya get taking to the punters you'd be amazed at some of the places people commute from.I've met passengers getting the train from Limerick,Cork and even Belfast. Some have been doing it for years. There's mad cunts on the road at 5.30am to be at their desks for 8am.

I'd say the ones in Dublin industrial will be fairly high.Luas and a lidl there already.

I attended the meeting in Dublin City Hall years ago I was the only civilian observer when the Dublin Spacial Plan for Inchicore Naas Road was debated and approved  the height restriction was set at 32 stories over basement .The reason that tower at Black Horse was erected was to open up the Dublin Skyline protection act which states that no building shall be more than twice the height of the next tallest building within a mile radius .The most famous tower is or was the one on Pearse Street Grand Canal Dock that was built to open up the Jurys site for twenty storey buildings .Iknow the man who bought the old Board of works site on Jamestown Road in Inchicore about 25 years ago for 50,000 he was leaving the auction when he was approached and offered a Million in readies for it .He took it .I think it was a government department that fucked up the site was for auction but one government department wanted to buy it from another .They were going to build a nick on it but that idea was scrapped .The reason apart from the cash my pal sold it was the old board of works buildings are sheeted in aspestos and would cost a small fortune to take down and dispose of .That site along with the Inchicore works have been rezoned .I suppose the owners of homes in Ballyfermot will object to being overlooked .

My old man once asked me why do you think they put that non roundabout roundabout at the bottom of Landen Road .He said it is there to allow traffic into the CIE works when they rezone it ,he told me years ago to try to buy a house on the left side of the road between Sarsfield road and the top of the roundabout as they will want to buy them up for access .same with the few houses at the top of Jamestown Road in Inchicore .Or if you had coin the houses at Cameron Square beside the hospital they will be bought up to extend the hospital ..Imto old now but I would recomend my kids to buy .A house is not just a home it can also be an investment .
