I know that... it was the 'erm who suggested that you should have given the money to the Gardai or bankers. Most shops and pubs have equipment for testing notes, you'd have to be off your rocker to trust the Gardai in Coolock or a banker.

Did I ? I suggested you not post about possible criminal activity .I simply pointed out the possible correct protocol when dealing with potentially counterfeit instruments .If spurious instruments came into Big Dommos or his apprentice posession the only evidence of such would be the copious amount of porter being swilled not a criminal statement confirming the uttering of false notes .Perchance a scoundral was to have passed such instruments last evening in the same fuel station as our colleague and the thin blue were informed it would be hard for our colleague to defend himself from prosecution based on his statement typed and posted on this forum .

I hate to ask but would the shop keep who failed the original offering someone brought up with said currency or would they be more familiar with a different currency .

I have contact details .they are here to open a arabic resteraunt in Dublin city centre.they want me to make contact with somebody who,could help the secure a premises,advise on legal and tax matters for the duration of their stay.there will be a bit of driving them around,but as l dont do days,if anyone is interested let me know

I wonder after Brexit IF it happens will Irish taxies be allowed work in the North .We saw what happened with the fishing boats and the heavily armoured Irish WAR ship .As we are independent Irish businesses might Irish taxies be restricted from earning or working north of the line .Will passengers traveling between both juristrictions have to disimbark and engage a native taxi .Will Metaxi have a change over Nissan Hut beside the customs posts .
