Michael's Garage was selling a camera on a bendy wand for about a tenner a few weeks back... meant to buy one but forgot... designed to improve vision for car repairs and such like but probably easy enough to wire into the motor to spy on the passengers. I think it worked with Android so you'd probably need an old phone to record.

I bought one of them and its just for looking inside stuff.Handy for checking inside the dogs ear or putting up yer nose.They don't work at recording stuff three feet away.

If I'm being honest it may have also been in my ear.It has a light on it and it comes up on yer phone screen.I think they're used to look inside of cylinder heads for scoring and damage. The Chinese are great, 20 years ago you'd have to pay 200 quid for a similar professional tool with a worse camera.
