Some folk get high valuations to avail of lower LTV mortgage rates... are they shooting themselves in the foot or, given that we live in Ireland, is it acceptable to have a range of different valuations for different purposes?
Suppose you get a valuer to give you a low quote (oh and a donut for favourable figure) ?

Id love to see a protest campaign against LPT being paid at all.what is  it for in the first place ?

The Local Property Tax (LPT) replaced the Household Charge which was abolished from 1 January 2013.

Still don't know whats its for though !

I could never understand why the water protesters did not turn their attention to the abolition of LPT instead .at least with water you got something for tour money,but the greedy government just take LPT from you,and you get nothing for it
I paid 13,500 duty on my current house and got nothing in return.

I paid 13,500 duty on my current house and got nothing in return.
What about all the headaches ?
