« on: March 22, 2019, 07:08:40 pm »
I had a Job last night to Rathmines, from Dame St .A french student told me I was the 1st taxidriver in a longtime that could speak english!!!.I asked him what does he mean ?.He said most taxis he gets, can't speak english whatsoever.I wonder whats going on?. I thought the test was a basic understanding of english?.Bob the builder could drive a taxi in Dublin and nobody would notice rofl.

With the amount of foreigners using our service taxi drivers should all have at least one other language as well as English .

It's getting like New York. It's nigh on impossible to find a taxi driver who can speak ENGLISH up above in Dublin. I think a lot of them are using Google Translate with mytaxi's online training manual and just memorising the shapes of the letters in the ENGLISH version of the answers.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.
