Three girls I brought to the event were remembering their Uncle who took his own life at the age of 24, and that was in 1995.

I totally understand how some find solace in the walks but to many people pay lip service by turning up once a year .I regulary drop a fiver to a drunk or Junkie what they do with it is their business .We all have our Cross to carry .I f Im driving through Neilstown and see a few of the Junkies I know that are on meds and are going to the Clinic at Lomana I often offer them a lift .They are always thankful you picked them up and Im sure they appreciate that you care and dont treat them badly .

The tabloid talk show sees host Kyle and psychotherapist Graham Stanier help the guests talk through their personal issues in front of a studio audience.Kyle was a second hand car salesman .Terrible programme parading people in front of cameras for entertainment most of the guests were educationally sub normal and being exploited .Wait and hear the Plastic Passion from the concerned disconected .

They do it for fame a night in a hotel and a few quid .As I posted a few times Britain is a Broken society ,Kyle,Shameless ,Royal Family ,Coronation Street,Eastenders will be studied in Universities as a true reflection on Post War Britain .I always look at a countries music as a reflection of its soul (not a pun)British Rock and pop of the 60s was world class thousands of bands gigging all over the world .Today Britain offers nothing it has lost its mojo .Last great British band were probably the verve 20 years ago .

Is it Silver .Do you not think the partisipants in Dole television are desperate and the type of person more likely to succomb to risk .Do you think if we wore yellow teeshirts we might be more effective .Saw an ad for a job with the Mc Verry trust but you need to be a graduate so what sort of wages are coming out of donations to pay third level qualified staff .I know a girl working for Goal who studied humanities on 43K a year .The sad reflection is your blindness to reality .Is your plastic passion recycleable .

I used to have a direct debit set up a few years back for concern.but when all the shit happened about the various charities,and the type of money their top people were earning I stopped it right away.I had no idea they were earning that much.now I just look after it myself directly

There's still no cure for adult termination after all these years except maybe don't kill yerself.I know we shouldn't be making light of it but it's a helpless situation.I think these charity drives are potentially making heroes out of those messed up enough to delete themselves.We perhaps need to shame them or at the very least show our distaste publicly.And before anyone gets annoyed I know more about this than most.Maybe run a few tv ads to show the kids left to grow up without parents.Hope I'm not being too offensive.But it's still IMO the most selfish act you can do.It's like taking the only ball and fukking off home in the middle of a penalty shootout because yer losing and having a bad week.

I suppose it is true to say though,that a lot of the walkers are actually family members of people who have taken their own lives,it is a noble cause but personally I dont support any charities because of the outrageous amounts of money their top people earn.

I think that Darkness into Light is a good way to highligh suicide in this country.A lot of families get the chance every year to share the non ending pain that occurs when a loved one commits suicide.You can say that some people turn up in the darkness and are not committed but they are supporting friends and contributing to the money to the cause.Of course you can point the finger at charities ripping off the donors but Pieta House appear to run a good show and there is plastic everywhere, in all walks of life.

I had a lady from one of them big charities in the car and asked why they have such nice offices in prime locations in Dublin city and why they run tv ads all day at great expense.Her answer was if you run a charity like a business it will generate more money compared to one bloke working out of his bedroom sending out leaflets.
I think as a country we donate more per head than most other countries.I'd pay extra to SKY tv if they wouldn't run those starving kids/dog adverts all day.

Accusing people who have been touched by Suicide of plastic compassion speaks volumes about your own motives.

She was in hospital earlier in the year,our daughter being the friend she was never told us the real reason for that only to say she had a stomach problem but it seems she had her demons...as do all of us i suppose.
