The Global pandemic has radically impacted the transport market, and changed passenger needs; people are simply doing less business travel and less airport trips - the types of journeys that make up most of the Exec offering.
We always aspire to provide the best service levels possible to our passengers - currently, our Taxi jobs are typically accepted within 15 seconds. However, it has proved much more challenging to match these excellent standards with our Exec service.
We have made a number of attempts to improve and grow the Exec service in the past (such as pricing changes to grow demand, promotions, etc.) however, it has been difficult to deliver a reliable solution for our drivers and passengers.
After much consideration, FREE NOW has taken the difficult decision to pause its participation in the Exec / Premium market until such a time where we believe we can deliver an Exec service that is good enough for our valued customers, and one that can make financial sense for drivers.
The Exec service is planned to finish on 9th November 2020.

Not sure, I'll have to ask. To be honest, the increase to a minimum fare of €25 was too much for Exec, considering Uber minimum is €15. Punters looking for executive cars will just go to Uber now.

Look at it the other way the more pensioners that prove they are available to work the higher the eligible pension age will go.There's very little sympathy for guys that have 10k in their pocket before they start a week's work.

Daly you are confused.The lads who can earn 480 a month lose the PUP if they go over it. They might think they can fiddle it but they'll be caught by the bollox if welfare call them in and than revenue will want to have a chat too.
You can earn as much as you want on top of your two pensions without being penalised.
Most are only getting 250 a week on Covid which will be reduced to 203 in February.Then gone altogether April 1st unless something changes.You are in a very privileged position.

I dont get full pension because in eircom I didnt pay a full stamp,and as for earning 480,I stopped working nearly a month ago because I could not even earn a tenner a night,and thats the absolute truth

When someone says they're doing something to feed their kids...do yis mean actually feeding yer kids?Or are yis buying them Playstation 5s and Iphones and tickets to Disneyland out of the money?.
With our generous welfare system there aren't many kids going hungry unless it's out of neglect.Food is very cheap IMO.Firewall said something similar a few months ago and it made me think people might be using the feeding the kids thing as an excuse for doing something they shouldn't be doing..seems odd to me.

I told you all from the start WORKCAPTURE it would take time .You would hand over YOUR work to the APP .With new Bus lanes and no access for Civilian Cars there is no profit in Limos or HACKS as they really are .The real Limo Companies will get a new Licence to allow them provide an Executive Service not wanked out BMWs .Free Now are now the Go to transport Provider for middle Price transport ie Office to the Airport for visiting Executives .You can be sure they will invite top quality Saloon Car taxies to cover this work all it takes is a single line of code into the OS of the app .Now that they have undermined the Hacks next will be the WATs people dont like them so there will be an option on the app to request a WAT if you dont you wont get one just another line of Code ..Now the End game the app controls about 60% of the taxi hale market .Taxi drivers will not want to be excluded from that market so will pay 20% commission for access .How many hacks gave up their private clients to cover Free Now work and probably picked up their original clients and handed over commission .Give it Two years and every Taxi driver will need to be with Free Now to make Pay and then they will insist that you cover every offer or get kicked .

If you watch how Drug Dealers operate you will see how taxi apps operate .Its the exact same business model .You swamp the area with Drugs?.taxies .You control the Work /Drivers .Then you get rid of some of the Dealers /Drivers as you control the Supply you need less dealers/Drivers to distribute your goods .The remaining dealers now depend on you for their supply so are more loyal the fact that there are less dealers means they make a little bit more coin .If you cross the line your out and replaced by the new kid on the block .

Your still Howling at the Moon dollyer .The Customers like the convenience of tap and go they dont give either of their Fucks how much commission you pay .People have bought into Convenience and are willing to pay for it from paying banks commission to allow them to spend their own money to actually paying Banks to hold their money on deposit .Its a new world Dalyer everybody wants convenience and are willing to pay for it .Unlike some trades we get 2 euro for providing the service which offsets most of the commission .The future for this industry is cashless and controlled by an App or dispatchers .Its just the way the industry is going .

You can buy smart lightbulbs now. I'm not 100% sure how they work but I think you can turn your lights on/off with an app on your phone... instead of walking 5 feet to the lightswitch on the wall. People pay €100's to put 'smart' doorbells/cameras on their front door so they don't have to walk to the door and open it. The mind boggles at the lengths people go to to avoid doing any work.
The driving force behind the taxi industry are the passengers who pay the money. FN might be nothing without us but we'd be nothing without people giving us money.
