Snooker type stuff
« on: April 24, 2019, 11:39:08 AM »
Have you noticed how many top Snookerists are Left handed .I can only think of two golfers two  tennis players and no darts players who were lefties .I wonder if Lefties watching Jimmy White were encouraged to start playing the game .

James Wade and Mark Webster are both lefty Dartists........can't think of any more. White was brilliant but he never did it on the big stage.....no nutritionists and sport psychologists back then...........

Jimmy was a coke head back in the day but never got caught unlike Thorburn. Jimmy played an exhibition game in Cork in circa late Eighties which my then firm sponsored and he went out on the town with the lads from my firm after the game so I got all the goss the next day.

I am ambidextrous, I play pool and darts using either left or right hand no problem played ball as a kid and kicked with both feet (not at the same time) writing is the only thing I have a problem with, if me dad or teacher caught me using me left hand writing I'd get a belt in the back of the head and be told only the devil's disciples uses their left hands.....

Sinister, from the latin sinistra for left.

My Da was the same and he had horrendous hand-writing because he was forced to write with his right hand in school while he was naturally left-handed.
