Have to agree Octy.....even when the country was on its knees these boys were awarding themselves generous salary and pension increases and paving the way for multinationals and vulture funds who they would themselves become board members and advisors to when they left office.

Probably.....but nepotism is rife in politics and defo a sense of entitlement for a lot of the FF/FG/Labour boys and girls,

Most of us normals were raised with a sense of right and wrong.....politicians..not all....seem to have no morals.

Are the ones from Eton and Rugby doing the stabbing though?.......same as all wars, John........the plebs taking out the plebs.

A lot of the problem is urban decay .Government allowing the inner city to decay so developers can gentrify it .I squatted in Brixton in the 80s now it is gentrified no longer a BlackGetto .Government want these areas to become no goareas so people will leave and developers can buy up cheap just look at Docklands in Dublin townies couldnt afford to live or rent in their own birthplace .As I said Britain is a Broken Society .Jeremy Kyle,Shameless ,Jim Royal of the Royal Family .Late night Telly giving the unemployables who are awake at 3AM the opportunity to buy a blow up bed or a Hoover on monthly payments Dole ques of lads in £60 football shirts and £200 runners and £500duck Down jackets all on credit a generation full of hopelessness and Coke .Life is cheap or worthless .

Modern eye gazing over yrs of neglect...........Brendan Behan had to walk back into town after his family was moved out to that finest of kips on the South-side...........the difference being nobody is starving or weakened from hunger......People like Norris moved back into the Nth inner city for a reason....they get to make policies which enrich them later on.......

"Catch yourself on mate", as the Nordies with "attitude" say...........the Dubs will be like the Londoners....occupying their own "Home Counties" and commuting into the city daily...... to pay tax to keep the Govt in readies to subsidise the tramps from all over the world destined to take the inner-cities to the same level as Paris, London and Marseilles; Nice, Ghent, Baden-Baden, Stavanger, Malmo, Lisbon, Seville..........ad infinitum.......and Gorey............

Ocky how many times on here have I suggested to drivers to listen to Luke Kellys poem  for what died the sons of Roisen ? It reflects exactly what you said in your last post
