The report, published by Christian Aid, says ill-conceived approaches of criminalisation and enforced eradication of illicit croplands destroy livelihoods and exacerbate human rights violations of already stigmatised and marginalised groups.

According to the report, some marginalised groups in countries like Afghanistan, Colombia and Myanmar, illicit drug economies are a means of survival and these groups often suffer from blind spots in development practice that fail to recognise this.

Lip in my lifetime things have changed .Abortion,Divorce .Homosexuality,Drug use going to prision were all shunned now they are acceptable .Our banks are broken yet I read today that Mortgage Interest Rates are to be cut ,so how do banks recover .They failed to Scoop the pool the last time but they are setting us up again to be rinsed .Interesting its Ulster Bank that is leading the assault on interest rates it is not lost on me that this is a British Bank and is a warning to Irish Politicians that the British can undermine the Irish Banking system any time they like and to be carefull with how they play their backstop hand .It simply makes no commercial sense to cut interest rates so it must be a political decision .

  Most banks dont make money they shuffle it from one colum to the other like Anglo borrowing from Nationwide or whoever it was the day before an audit .Banks are really not for profit organisations just make wages for staff and directors trow coin to the shareholders no need to make profit as profit only leads to tax and thats a waste of money that could be making more money for the staff and shareholders .Cashless is brilliant for banks it means they dont need to hold any cash just a logoritm that shuffles the pack .Its virtual currency that dosent exist but we accept it .You do a metaxi job get paid in tradeable vouchers then pass them off in the garage for fuel or smokes you never see a penny or a pound in your pocket .By replacing Real money with virtual money banks can never run out of money as it is only virtual .Why do you think the wealthy are investing in real stuff like Land or buildings they know the future for cash is limited .A thing that started out as astudents website is set to become the worlds biggest bank (Facebook)
