DM , in my case I was born in March 1958 the month after the Munich Air Disaster .

I always maintained I was sent on this earth to play for them because of this , unfortunately it did not work out as I found Drink and women more attractive.

Supporting them was my next and only option.

true story Ken.
My uncle scored the first goal ever scored by a league of Ireland team in the euorpean cup as it was then.it was against your beloved busby babes in old trafford.he played for shamrock rovers ,and was part of the famous codes colts then.that was in 1957'.busby was so impressed with him,he actually came over to house and my granny, being an offaly woman couldnt understand his scottish accent, and duly ran him from the door

Fir play Dalyer..........me Uncle remembers him. Asked him this morning in Bray having a outrageously over-priced Latté down the seafront....he's 88.

Your getting confused there DM it was STC's who pledged his allegiance to Man Utd, not me.

I don't support or follow any football team (except whomever me small fella play's fer).
I was born in North London just a stones throw from Stamford bridge which would entitle me to be a Chelsea supporter, but I'm not, except when they win the Premier league !
