It depends. Some of the good chargers can fill up a tesla with enough juice to go 250km in an hour. Also each car has a limit on how fast it can charge.I doubt the one mentioned is a decent one.Probably meant to be enough to get you home.If you're buying one of these leccy cars it's expected that you'll be charging it to nearly full before you leave the gaff.So stopping to charge on the road is really only meant for emergencies.

A lot of appartment blocks wont have enough charging points neither will gaffs around the SCR or NCR that do not have drive ins .You cant run a cable from your gaff across the foot path without being sued by somebody tripping up .I see they have now limited how long you can charge at an on street .Some cunt in the Dep of Health in Stephens hospital used the charging point as their free parking space .

Many newer apartment blocks don't even have car spaces. If you live a tenner taxi from the Spire you probably don't need a car.

I done a Tour a few Weeks ago for two Canadians They thought Dublin was a Planning disaster they recon it should of been buldozed down outside of the Actual City center .They were involved in City Planning they liked Ballyfermot as basically it was built on a grid with Sarsfield ,Decies and Landen alljoined up by the roads that crossed them but when they got to Upper Ballyfermot and Cherry orchard they couldnt believe all the dead ends and closes .To them it made no sence .Kilmore is well designed then you look at Tallaght built about the same time is a maze .Dublin is not transport friendly unless you are on foot or bike and that is now becoming a reality for planners .There was no planning in the past just whatever the builder wanted he got .When you look at Clondalkin or Lucan they were wide open flat spaces ideal for a grid system but they planned and planned until they broke it .
