My concern was genuine and heartfelt. Octy/Mr Phooey/MikeTeavee seems to come you your defence when it's wholly inappropriate and not when he should. It wasn't me who rang you that night on any number...I've only ever contacted 3 members both on Roy's and Rat's forums.......However, Hippo did offer public support to you when some tramp publicly put up your details on some "gay for pay" site. I recall being disgusted at this and also frightened that this tramp (whom you know well and naively believed to be your friend) could do the same to anyone else. Banter is one thing but that's going way too far. I was PM'd by someone at the time asking me if I had copped who it was...they seemed worried that I had....I decided to leave it be.

But at least your help ended a long running saga and Lar thankfully gave up.
I did think of reporting him to both the Gardai and his own firm but I knew that would cost him his job, so I spared him.
I still have all the details saved just in case he ever starts up again but I reckon he is well warned off.
