Ah Dollyer dont be so negative Big Dommos Da use to do the Coal in 1968 his horse got killed coming out of the flats when it got hit by the coal lorry .It was a soggy day due to all the smog caused by burning Coal .I remember him wiping away a tear as Workboy the Fourth lay dead and his Granny shouting over the Balcony "Get the Harness off that Horse "Dommos Grandad said "Ah poor old Workboy it was the Coal that killed him "

I'm sure that the powers that be would facilitate a personal payment from yourself, to an appropriate body, in order to reduce your carbon footprint, thereby salving your conscience for your affluent lesiure pursuits, and set an excellent example to the rest of us to do the same rather than waiting to be whipped into it.

You're missing the point, BS. With O'Leary's carefree attitude to the environmental consequences of his exploitation of minimum wage (immigrant) workers "affluent leisure pursuits" are no longer affluent. When I get back from Bristol I will have taken a dozen flights in 2019 - 10 leisure and 2 to attend a funeral - on a part-time taximan's income. The proposed surcharge ought to discourage the practice rather than simply raise revenue to invest in the environment. There's something seriously wrong with a flight across the water costing less than a 1.1 kilo taxi journey, including taxes and surcharges.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Big Dommos youngest youngfella moved to the sticks and learned about Cows and horses and Wheat and udder farmers stuff .He recons if we planted all the Trees that the Sandal wearing Tree hugging mung Bean Munching Cyclists tell us to plant that they would use so muck water that Ireland would become a desert by August the 26th 2099 .Great to see a fella from the flats learning all about the land especially considering he lived on the third balcony nowhere near the ground .

You're dead right RC...if only the powers that be had let Aer Lingus keep their monopoly we wouldn't be in the shit we're in,
On another note i see Cold Play have said they won't tour their new album or possibly tour again until they can become carbon neutral....maybe they should have taken that stance back when they were a struggling band and then we wouldn't have to listen to Chris preaching from on high.

Being released and toured are two completely different things and i'm sure Chris would have your head in a spin explaining it,the way he's goin on you'd swear he was trying to get back in his ex's knickers.....and i've heard they're bio biodegradable.

I’ve taken 4 flights, all for leisure. My wife however is about 20-30, the majority being work related

Absolutely Hal, and that’s why I work fuk all.

The Erm works fuk all cause his house is paid off, only needs money for food, bills and entertainment etc etc. not a lot to be honest and he is happy with that.

On a side note, John M, how is the weight loss coming on? You haven’t posted about it in a while and was just curious. I know someone, a personal trainer, who could/would help, who is actually helping a mutual friend, if you were interested. I honestly would like you, and any other driver, to succeed in that endeavor
