C'mon The Irish
« on: December 15, 2019, 01:54:46 pm »
Ciaran Teehan (never heard of him to be honest) on stage shortly... then tomorrow night is Paddys Night with Steve Lennon, William O'Connor and Keane Barry (big name in these parts) all in action. Live and exclusive on Sky Sports Darts (HD).

Ciaran's a Cork man... first time on TV but has showed promise on the circuit, according to Sky.

Ciaran through to round 2 with an impressive 3-0 win over Ross Smith... from the Joshua Tree bar on Blarney Street, which I'm sure Ken will know. Brendan Dolan (NI, but our side of the fence) through on the same but far more expected scoreline.

Is hurling big in Brazil, erm? Ireland came second in last year's world cup of darts.

Dolan plays Anderson tomorrow night (round 2) so Irish interest in all four games... Shame it's a Monday but definitely a night for the bar regardless!

He'd have made a fortune backing the outsider of two in the darts WC so far... I guess we can all be wise after the event.

Again... Three of the four games last night went to the outsider of two, including Luke Woodhouse at 49/10.

If we assume the Dutchman gets to the final you're looking for two to beat both the Welshman and the Dutchman. The Welshman may be most vulnerable early on so let's go for William O'Connor at 400/1 with Spoilsports and Luke Humphries at 80/1 (not great value, IMO) generally available.

The 'Josh' is a grand little bar on Cork's northside, fer an outsider it's a good place ta pick up a birra Mutton dressed as Lamb or get a Black-eye or maybe both !

I'm on the Treble fer a small few quid; Steve Lennon (4/7), William O'Connor (3/10) and Keane Barry (9/4).
And added a smaller staked Quad including Brendan Dolan (2/1) fer an Irish night.
And had a bigger Saver on the First Two named selections.

Is it on regular TV or do I have to watch the odds on Betfair ?

Just picked up me keyboard to put a tenner on the 4 fold... Anderson has been muck lately but with so many upsets to date, how many more can there be!
