To all drivers get your health checked.I always saidi would leave the industry rather then join a dispatcher.imafraid I will be leaving the industry,but not for the reasons stated.Its taking me every fibre of my being to write this,but it helps when I talk about it.I presented at beaumont hospital on monday morning for a coronory angiogram.I thought worst possible scenario was stents.I was bowled over when they told me I need a triple bypass andits urgent.this is from someone who does not drink or smoke and walks 10k 5 days a week.tbh Im scared shitless they are keeping me here till jan when the surgery will be performed in the mater.to those of you who are believers,please pray for me thank you

I'm sure you'll be back with modified hours or diet or whatever is the cause.

Get well soon Daly you could be even stronger after the bypass.Hopefully they find an Irish fella to do the work not some Nigerian lad who got his qualifications off the internet...

Ya know MFH,I am no longer the man I was .I have a brand new respect for foreigners new that I have seen the tremendous work they do.I feel scared about what I must face but they help me greatly every day reassuring me.I am very scared

All of our consultants have spent most of their adult lives training abroad in the best hospitals in the world.  You'll be in good hands.  The hard part is getting into hospital & you'll already overcome that hurdle.  Be positive and you'll be fine!

I will.they are keeping me in all over christmas.I dont really want to go home for the day anyway ,cause I know if I break my focus I wont want to come back in
