Been doing a bit of walking myself of late. I'd love to say I feel better for it but I don't, at least not physically.
If it doesn't have a roof sign and door stickers it's not a taxi.

Walking is great....takes a long time to see the results, but just look at Vanessa Feltz.

Italy is hit hard, experts say, only because they have the oldest population in Europe.
Are YOU a expert on the FLU????.Grow up man.Look at the bigger picture.Lombardy has a population of 10m people .Ireland 4.8 M people. Lombardy had 319 deaths just today!!!!!!!!!.Irish experts say this will hit us hard and very hard, and you come on here like a keyboard warrior, and gladly say you working, probably claiming the pandemic payment, and joke about it.Your of the wall comments are not funny when peoples lives are at risk. Only the old people????.Have you family???.Governments trying to scare us????.This is a VIRUS that could kill my 82 year old father .How dare you!!!!!.Lots of drivers on here have family that are threatened by this and are worried what will happen in the next few weeks .We all are finding this hard and our income is gone!!!!,Have a heart before you post. When peoples lives are at risk you dont play about.

you are doing exactly what they want you to do, im mortified for the people i see running around like headless chickens today with masks and gloves on. All governments want us in constant fear, it has always been the same, this is just the latest edition. what would people be like if there was a virus that if you got you had a 1 % chance of living? id rather be dead than to buy into fear like this.

Fear is the real threat to the world. As Leo and Boris said the virus cannot be stopped only slowed.

Hopefully enough so the health systems can cope.

Fear is the last thing Governments want because if it really takes hold society will collapse.

That is why all governments are stepping in and throwing .billions of imaginary money, that it hasnt got at it.

It will be paid back by taxpayers for generations.

But if they don't what will happen? Society will break down, no law, survival of the fittest, every one for themselves. No law, no arrests. People taking what they want. That sounds extreme doesnt it. But that is exactly why every government in the world is throwing billions of imaginary money at it, to try and stop that.
So we think grand, work away at it governments.

But this is guess work. You heard Leo and Boris. This has never happened before so no idea about the right way to manage it. I hope they are all right about it.

Thats the economic or money side of it. If the health systems gets overwhelmed with too many cases at once then the money side is fucked. Leo and Boris said worst is to come from the number of infections point of view. They cant stop it but they hope to slow it down so it can be managed.

Imagine a health system where there are thousands of cases at once and not enough medicine, ventilators, beds or staff to deal with it. Like in Italy where they have.to decide who gets help and people over 80 wont be treated. And they say the worst is to come. I hope governments are making the right decisions.

But just in case they have police and army on stand by to protect the health system, enforce social distancing, protect supermarkets, chemists and petrol stations if the population don't abide by rules. Worst case if it drags on, people get cabin fever and/or run short of funds looting and riots could kick in. Like Tallaght Lidl in the snow.

Last thing Governments want. Because this world of imagined realities would collapse into chaos. Our economy, legal system, currency and society are just that, imagined realities. Abstract concepts that we all go along with as long as it works and suits us. The very real coronavirus has fucked the economic reality and to save it governments need to press the pause button while fucking billions of imaginary money at it.

Im hearing rumors that Luas drivers are to hold a vote to withdraw service due to risk of infection from passengers .Company says that they must wait for government to make the decision as they are liable for a fine of 100k per day for every day the service does not run and if the drivers withdraw their service the company will go to the commercial court and go into voluntary insolvency .Meaning drivers lose their jobs and only get statutory redundancy .

National Bus and Rail Union issues warning on services
Union ‘cannot guarantee’ continuity if health advice on social distancing not implemented

Plans for public transport timetables to be reduced to Saturday or even Sunday schedules are under consideration.

It comes amid an expected fall in demand for trains and buses as people work from home and practice social distancing.

It's understood the plans to potentially scale back bus and train timetables have been discussed at meetings between the National Transport Authority (NTA) and the Department of Transport.

Look I dont want any of your parents/grandparents to die, your 82 year old dad could have a better chance of surviving this than someone of 60. my main points are that I cant understand why young people are afraid they will die from this, I have since found out that wearing a mask is no good unless say i was driving a customer with the virus(even then the virus has a chance of getting through the mask), so i think the people wearing them on the street or driving their cars look very silly.

I was one who wasnt impressed with Leos speech either, I cant see why a lot of people were, but we are all different, I have my opinions and make no apologies for them.

I dont think it was the type of speech anyone should have been looking for inspiration from, but I suppose he delivered it with honesty, which is all we could have expected.im not afraid of covid 19,and I have more reason then most of you to be afraid,I think you just need to do what the HSE ,and doctors etc ask and try not to worry.there is a great saying I often THIS TO SHALL PASS

looks like we are in a good position so, we may get a lot more work if the other services are scaled down. and for those of you who dont want to keep working, ye can just turn your phone off, or stay at home and who can stop you?
