I am going fer the 6 week 203 option.
On the web page is just says payment, neither listed as benefit or allowance ?

Indeed. It says you must apply for "Jobseekers" within the 6 week period. The erm suggested doing that on the last day, advice you said you would follow... so, have you decided whether you will apply for Benefit or Allowance on the last day?

I should have clarified, after the 6 weeks or before they need me to sign on the dotted fer the full time job seekers allowance.

True enough, Ken... and in my case I don't think I can apply for anything other than the emergency payment as you need a PSC to do any of that online and they cancelled my appointment to get a PSC because they don't want the public in the dole offices... I guess I'll have to phone them before the emergency period (however long that proves to be) expires. I just don't want you to have to give the money back is all.... Have they said whether the emergency payment is taxable or not?
