I think all this talk from Leo of welfare payments was bollox.I dont know anyone who has actually got anything yet.I myself applied 13 days ago and still nothing.its possibly a con job

Dollymount what do you think you qualify for .You dont have Covid so wont get sick pay .Did you actually fill in the yellow form .The letter from your doctor is of no value for claiming any existing benifits .Its a sick cert self employed cant claim that benifit .
Your wrong there John M (as has already been explained in detail on this topic). Once DM has been told by his doc to self isolate, then his doc should have sent off the forms to revenue fer the 305 fer 2 weeks, regardless if self employed he will get the payment, unless the doc made a bollix of sending out the forms.

Belker.you would not believe the confusion around this but I'll try and explain.I went to the doc 14 days ago,she said considering my underlying conditions, she would have concerns for me. My understanding was,she was going to fill in a cert and send it it on my behalf.at the same time, she gave me a form for illness benefit ( which I still think is the wrong form ) however.I waited a week and rang the dept they said they did not receive anything from the doc.I went back up the surgery and the receptionist tolm that they dont send certs in ,that its up to me to do that.I then sent in the cert ,and it seems the doc gave me the wrong codes.I went back to the surgery ,got the right code, sent it in,and on friday gone they acknowledged they received it.yesterday they said they received nothing after saying on friday they received it.also your man in there tried to tell me I dont qualify because in JUNE I qualify for the syaye pension.you could not make it up.so now im not botherd its more trouble then its worth

Might have been better off applying for the temporary €203/week, particularly as Leo has promised us an increase.

I'd say they might bump it up to 300 to get close to what the brits are offering.

I think 240000 people were laid off this week. They're under a lot of pressure.Don't expect any special treatment. They don't have the facility to give it out unless you are looking for a hardship payment.

Wonder how the mad cunt(s) is fairing this weather? I'd say he's probably on Alex Jones talking about the micro-chipping agenda that is next on Harris's list of things to get done for the sake of Marx.

If they go with 75% of income, some drivers will owe them money based on their tax returns
what's 75% of nothing?

I'd need 75% of my projected income rather tan 75% of previous years' earnings.

If they follow the banks example by using a gross average of our last three years returns @75% I'd be entitled to 260 a week...If the pubs and the takeaways stay closed I won't need anymore than 150 a week to get by and still pay the bills.

Perhaps I missed it before MFH, but how does your household survive on €200 since Xmas.
Trump has called for help, so I'm on a plane heading for The Strait of Hormuz, talk soon.
