Because of your insistince on wanting to risk spreading the virus, I, and others like me are delayed in going back to work safely
I'm Not insisting on spreading the virus as you say DM, I am classified as an essential worker, granted not all of my work is Medical but a good share of it is and the FN discount is Not 50% to drivers as the 15% commission is waved on Medical jobs, so it is 35% which on short jobs which nearly all are it costs the driver about 1 Euro.

Ken how can you even try justify doing these jobs?
Imo anybody doing these bring the hero to work jobs for half price deserves to catch the corona pox and die roaring, just like the taxi business is with free now
Mr. T-bag to you

Essential for who , him or the punters.. ?  He said in an interview maybe I should think about closing my own door  when asked , but did he do it ?  Did he fukk

The clients. If he shutdown he'd lose drivers and customers. Technically, drivers are self-employed so he can't force them to stop working... although he has tried to persuade them not to work. They'd just work for another firm if he switched his radio off. Anywaysanall, it's not his decision, the directors as a collective are responsible.

Fair play, Ken. You are doing yourself, our trade and Cork proud. Keep up the good work and stay safe.... and, FFS, get your 3 and a half a week back, you're more than entitled to it.

Here lies Ken
A true hero he helped to spread the coronavirus. He was so brave, he even worked for fukkall , while the people who detailed him to do so, hid in the bunkers in Mount street. God bless Ken , and his cab and all that sail in it. Proudly posted by his number 1 supporter Mr rat

It's an essential service.
No it isn't.

No it isn't.

Tell that to the widow(er)s / ex (same sex) partners who wouldn't have got to their dying spouse's / (same sex) partner's bedside if there were no taxis... and the tens of thousands of essential workers who would have caught COVID '19 and died if they had to travel by bus, train or Luas.

Widows are not allowed by the bedside. People can do social distancing on public transport , not so in the back seat of a money hungry pox.
Try harder.

That's crazy... how can you avoid crowds on a crowded bus?

Just from what I've seen on my walks the buses rarely have more than 5/6 passengers. One free seat every three rows with the others covered by cardboard unavailable for use.

That's on Dublin bus and bus Eireann a good while now.

The buses are ghost buses.

I doubt they're even covering the cost of the diesel under the current restrictions.
