Not True 42 he got the letter this morning and I saw it .He is appealing .He was told by his broker not to cancel his insurance as he would then only have 3rd party and if anything happened to his van he would not be covered .He didnt disconect from the app as advised by the Taxithingey so I suppose technically he is still a viable taxi ?

He was told by broker he would only have 3rd party its a new van use to drive a rental its his first policy in his own name so was afraid to mess with it and broker im sure didnt want to be returning commission .

Sorry John... You are right.. I hold me hands up... Just off th phone to a friend of mine who has a taxi rented out. The lad who's driving the taxi has been caught working and claiming but trying to deny it. My mate got a letter from revenue asking him is this lad renting your taxi at the moment. He had to reply yes.
