I posted about this a few weeks ago ....Meanwhile a new Employment Wage Support Scheme will replace the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme (TWSS) and run until April 2021.

The new scheme will see businesses, whose turnover has fallen below 30pc, receive a state subsidy of €205 per month per employee and this includes seasonal workers and new employees.


New companies operating in sectors badly impacted by the virus will also be eligible for the payment .

So if your earnings have collapsed will we be entitled to this subsidy if we return to work ?

The way things are going I might not get back on the road before my car is 15.

200 a week without the costs of running the car isn't too bad so many won't be back until the PUP is completely withdrawn.

I think they will move age limit to 12 years.

Yes and Yes - as per the erm's post they're cutting our puppy dole buy a ton a week.

Just back to the title of the thread everything I've found so far says that the first cut will be from September 17.So just under two months to go.

As stated by Professor Luke o Neill (Biochemistry TCD) a well ventilated vehicle is an extremely safe environment, add a screen and masks and you're probably safer than at home, one never knows what disease your loved ones bring  with them, Florida is suggesting people wear masks at home to slow infection numbers increasing
