If the Porter Shops dont reopen then there must be a doubt the Schools will reopen ,if they dont them Mick Martin the TD from Cork will be claiming the Covid Coin PUP as he wont be Taoiseach anymore .The Yanks and the Brits are getting slaughtered but Ireland is saying Ah Sure its grand .Has anybody got a clue what is really happening .

Pubs that can serve food are open already. There's about ten within walking distance from my gaff. Those that want a drink can get one today.

I think the parents are finding it tough with the homeschooling and many are struggling to work from home. They need the school open to babysit their kids.

Pubs will open soon but not in their old format. Many will realise they need to get a restaurant licence to reopen before Christmas.I wouldn't be expecting any huge jump in business.I'm surprised at ya Erm you're usually the pessimistic one.

As the restaurant pub opening has been a success given no known cluster has started in one there is no reason why they shouldn't

Some places are strict on the guidelines and others don't bother policing the HSE recommendations. So there will be outbreaks in some of the smaller places in time.If yer under 30 COVID 19 isn't your problem from what I've seen.

They won't all open. There's probably enough open for now anyway.

45 more cases today. And that's even before the holiday weekend. If they weren't already, the pubs are banjaxed now.

45 is grand, there's loads of free capacity in hospitals and ICUs. We've a way to go before they need to do anything to slow the spread.

People don't give two shites anymore. I went in for a sandwich earlier and this one breezed in and nearly stood on top of me. I asked her was she looking for a hug or what? It took a minute for the penny to drop. And I took a fare going to her grandchilds confirmation party in the house. Boasting about how all the family would be there. 35 I think she said. Bouncy castles, the lot. I had to bite my tongue.

Once we have the front line resources to cope with hospital - and, particularly, ICU - admissions there isn't a problem.

I think the statistics bloke on the news said it becomes a real problem when it gets to 200 new cases a day. That many cases can escalate very quickly into a real problem.

Schools will be allowed they've already said it.Pubs are unlikely to be opened fully. The bar man better learn how to make some pizzas soon.
