Very true John beware on this. This document has been available around 24th of June already. The reason WHY is not available now is simple because small print is EDITED. Keep your change Gov.ie and keep editing

Many years ago I got a Start your own business grant ,ran a small engineering/maintenance business with my mate .Due to a divorce we closed the business I tried to apply for the dole ,the paperwork needed ranged from bank accounts to daily expenditure of food electricity rent .Once you move from one pile of paperwork to the next it can get complicated especially if your hen is earning .

That's for employers only. The enterprise support grant of 1000 that we qualify for is not out yet.
I rang social welfare earlier on foot of seeing that news about the restart grant and they referred me to the dbei. I then rang th dbei and they said it's social welfares job. It's the usual shit that you would expect

I spent money on a screen months ago thinking it was dead money. To get it back would be like getting free money at this stage. I'll upgrade me phone. Get the car serviced and a few tyres etc. Should bring it up to around the grand or so. 1250 is what you want to spend to get the full grand off them. Fuck it. If it's available I'm going for it.

If you already signed off defiantly consider putting  in a claim but check out the small print .What I would be weary of is after 17th Sept the application for covid Coin closes .If you go back and get the grant and then we go into lockdown again will you have disqualified yourself from claiming welfare as you agreed to return to work .If you have already returned to work why would they give you money ?

you sure you can get tyres and service paid for? would you not have had to get them even if there wasn't a pandemic?

It says repairs qualify, so I'll get mechanic to do the service but instead put it down for a new battery, as my old one went tits up due to the car lying around for "months". The tyres should be OK. I imagine they are allowing for repairs as the thinking would be that after all that's happened, fellas would not have the dough lying around to get these things done. The reason for the new phone will be "please sir to replace my old brick style Nokia so I can get a smart phone to download the covid tracing app to do my bit for King Meehawl and Country and trace contaminated passengers. One can only but try. Nothing to lose. Gulp.
