If we can now work and claim  how come so many drivers are going around with no roof sign on?

That's something that struck me also,i would say the majority of taxis i've seen have no roofies attached.

Two of the regulator's enforcers () were hiding in the doorway of a shop late one night a few years ago. I spotted the slithery bastards a mile away. Though as I say, if you've nothing to hide, you've nothing to worry about. I was waiting to see them for some time to find something out, so I pulled up along the kerb and got out. Before they said anything about plying for business, I told them I wasn't working. One of them says "so why have you got your sign on?" I didn't bother debating the issue. I found out what I needed to and fucked off on me way. It got me wondering what Is the rule in that regard. As far as I'm concerned you're allowed to keep your sign on all the time once the light isn't on. Don't know what his problem was. But I had a run in with him a couple of years previous to that. He had a right attitude. Power went to his head. Tom Barry was his name if I remember correctly. Ex guard.

You mean before they knew they could work and claim.

It won't go back to 350 unless you earned 400+....maybe if Revenue had taken weekly expenses as the measure we'd be in Johns every night partying.

Mine was reduced to 250 the day i started my real job...i would have appealed it had i continued signing on as i'd filed my 2019 returns which would have put me on the 300.

I'd say Revenue were inundated with 2019 returns miraculously putting self-employed spongers into the 3 ton puppy bracket. It's a great little country but it'd be greater without that Mehaul cunt. Dr. Leo was great so he was...

There's no doubt it will be extended as they already promised employers that the wage subsidy scheme is going beyond April.

That's the main reason I wanted to be on the higher Covid payment. This could go until 2022 easily while they're waiting on vaccine distribution.
